Big Y Dig In - the Big Y Magazine
Our Most Recent Publication
A positive we can take from the last few months is that we have spent more time together. Our families were already the center of our existence and the reason why we wake up in the morning — but now even more so. The daily interactions with our sons or daughters, brothers or sisters, pets, partners, parents or grandparents, have strengthened the family bond — and that has boundless benefits. The restrictions will ease one day, but the love that has been intensified in these days, for our families, will not. That’s why we have to do what it takes to fortify that bond. National Family Meals MonthTM is a movement that does that by promoting families’ health and happiness, and we’re all about it. In this issue of Big Y Dig In Magazine, you’ll find incredible recipes that nurture good times with the family, you’ll discover ways to feed your mind, body and soul and you’ll get to know a little bit more about some of our vendors that make us proud every day.

It's More Than Food, It's My Big Y 2020 Calendar
We believe in the products we offer you day by day. And we're talking only about the baked goods or fresh, local produce, the phenomenal deli or the fabulous floral department. It's more than just the products that fill our aisles. It's the world class service, the love of our shoppers, the commitment to hope and eliminating hunger, the empowerment of local partners and the care of our communities and big blue planet. We want to make 2020 the year when we show you the many forms our pledge for you takes. Because at Big Y, it's more than food. It's being better together.
the Back to the Backyard issue
Even in difficult and uncertain times, one thing that we can count on is family, friends and neighbors coming together to support each other. We will continue to show you, our customers and all the communities we serve, that you can still find the wonderful people, products and services you depend on within our walls. We continue to restock our shelves, and we’re beginning to see the best from our local farmers in our stores. Luckily for everyone, the weather is turning, and the good vibes are shining like a noonday sun. Let’s fire up the grill and the flavor of the season. We all need it. And remember, even if the gatherings are smaller, the fun can be just as big.
the Color issue
Spring is in full effect and, for many of us (yes, myself included), this is the best time of the year. It only takes a little peek into our stores to see them glistening with life. A plethora of colorful varieties of fruits and vegetables illuminate our produce section and Easter candy sprinkles color into our aisles. Plus, we get to honor the most important person in our lives, our Moms. What’s not to love about this time of the year? This colorful issue of Dig In wants to add a pop of color into your life. It will give you gardening tips to be ready for the season, vibrant ideas for Mother’s Day, fresh dips to spread the love, brilliant Easter feast ideas and much more. Spring is back and with that, we rise to the occasion. Let’s make the most out of it, together.
