- Wash hands with soap and water.
- Rinse all fresh produce.
- Use a vegetable peeler to remove 3-inch-long sections of orange peel from the orange, avoiding the white pith underneath. Cut orange in half and juice both halves.
- In a large pot over medium-high heat, combine orange peel, orange juice, cloves, allspice, cinnamon sticks, cranberry juice and apple cider; bring to a boil.
- Partially cover pot, reduce heat to low and let simmer for 45 minutes.
- Strain and serve warm.
