Note: Wash hands with soap and water.
1. In a medium saucepan over medium-high heat, combine sugar, water, orange juice, orange zest and cloves and cook for 5 minutes or until sugar dissolves, bring to a rapid boil. Reduce heat to medium, stir in cranberries and cook for 12 to 15 minutes or until the skins start to pop. Remove from heat, transfer to a serving bowl and let cool until room temperature. Once cool, cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
