Ingredients

Directions

1. Wash hands with soap and water.

2. Rinse fresh produce.

3. Butter inside of brioche buns, then place them to the side. On a hot griddle, cast iron or Blackstone, drizzle cooking surface with canola oil. Make six small piles of sliced onion on the cooking surface.

4. Place one ground beef patty on each pile of sliced onions. Season patty with salt, pepper and garlic powder, then smash until very thin. Cook for 1 to 2 minutes. Wash hands after handling raw beef.

5. Place your buttered brioche buns on the cooking surface to toast. Flip onions and smashed patties, and cook for another minute.

6. Top four patties with American Cheese, and two patties with Onion Jack Cheese. Allow cheese to melt slightly, then remove patties and brioche buns from the cooking surface.

7. Assemble your Smash Burgers: Spread chipotle mayo on the bottom bun, then layer lettuce and tomato. Add three burger patties, two with American Cheese and one with Onion Jack per Smash Burger. Add diced red onion and garlic aioli, then complete the assembly with the top bun.
