Teriyaki Turkey Burgers

Sweet and tangy turkey burgers topped with a spicy, fresh slaw.

Directions

1. Wash hands with soap and water.

2. Rinse fresh produce.

3. Prepare outdoor grill for direct grilling over medium-high heat. In large bowl, whisk mayonnaise, lime juice and sriracha; fold in cucumber, carrots and cilantro. 

4. In separate large bowl, gently mix turkey and 1/2 the teriyaki sauce; form into 4 (1/2-inch-thick) patties. Wash hands after handling raw turkey.

5. Spray patties with cooking spray; place on hot grill rack, cover and cook 10 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit with an instant read thermometer, brushing with remaining teriyaki sauce after 5 minutes and turning once. During last minute of cooking, place buns, cut side down, on hot grill rack; cover and cook 1 minute or until lightly toasted.

6. Serve burgers in buns topped with mayonnaise mixture.
