1: Wash hands with soap and water.
2: In a large bowl, combine turmeric, garlic powder, salt, cumin, coriander and allspice. Add chicken and toss to coat well. Wash hands with soap and water after handling raw chicken. Cover and refrigerate on a large plate placed on the lowest shelf in your refrigerator for a minimum of 20 minutes.
3: Thread chicken evenly among skewers. Wash hands with soap and water, again, after handling raw chicken.
4: Grill skewers over medium-high heat for 10 minutes, turning every few minutes, or until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit as verified with an instant-read thermometer.
