1. Wash hands with soap and water.

2. Rinse fresh produce.

3. Preheat oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a rimmed baking pan with parchment paper.

4. In a medium bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, garlic powder, salt and pepper. In a large bowl, stir cheese, sour cream, water and chives; add flour mixture and mix with hands just until incorporated.

5. Transfer dough to a lightly floured work surface; with floured hands, knead until a smooth dough forms, adding additional water, if necessary. Roll dough into 12, 2-inch balls; place on prepared pan. Wash hands after handling raw flour.

6. Bake biscuits 13 minutes or until golden brown.

Chef Tip: Serve biscuits spread with unsalted butter.
