Directions
1. Wash hands with soap and water.
2. Rinse fresh produce.
3. In a slow cooker, combine broth, sausage, cayenne pepper, oregano, thyme, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, parsley, celery, tomatoes, onion, bell pepper, salt and pepper. Cover and cook on low for 7 hours.
4. Turn heat to high and add shrimp and rice. Wash hands after handling raw shrimp.
5. Cover and cook on high until shrimp’s flesh is pearly and opaque, about 30 minutes.
6. Garnish with green onions before serving.
