1. Wash hands with soap and water.
2. Rinse all fresh produce.
3. In a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat, add oil. Once hot, add peppers, onion, basil, oregano, salt and pepper. Cook, stirring frequently, for 6 minutes or until vegetables are crisp-tender.
4. Add sausage to skillet and cook until sausage reaches an internal cooking temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit as verified with an instant-read food thermometer, about 5 minutes.
5. Serve sausages in hoagie rolls topped with peppers and onion.
