Herb Pesto Dipping Sauce
DirectionsNote: Wash hands with soap and water.
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. Spread pine nuts and almonds on a baking sheet and bake for 7 to 10 minutes or until pine nuts are a golden brown.
3. In a food processor, combine toasted nuts, garlic cloves, basil, parsley, Parmesan cheese, water and Big Y salt and ground black pepper to taste, process until slightly chunky. With motor running, slowly pour in olive oil and process until all the ingredients are mixed and turn into a smooth paste, scraping down the sides occasionally.
