Serving this delicious treat to your kids is a great way to help raise healthy eaters. It incorporates fruit and heart-healthy fats with a sprinkle of sweet on top. It is a better-for-you snack kids are sure to enjoy.

1. Wash hands with soap and water.

2. Rinse fresh produce.

3. Take each slice of apple and carefully spread a thin (or thick) layer of nut butter on each side.

4. Once each apple slice is coated with nut butter, sprinkle a little granola on each side.

5. For the final touch, add a few chocolate chips to each side of the apple and enjoy.
