Creamy Turkey and Wild Rice Soup

Note: Wash hands with soap and water.
1. In a large soup pot over medium heat, add butter. Once melted, add onion and celery and cook for 5-7 minutes or until tender.
2. Increase heat to high and stir in flour; mix well. Stir in broth, cream, water and rice and bring to a boil. Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, or until rice is tender.
3. Reduce heat to medium. Stir in turkey, carrots and thyme and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
4. Season to taste with salt and pepper and serve.
