Creamy Parmesan Pasta with Ham

A ham that's all decked out for the holidays is a sight to behold, but it's challenging to make the leftovers just as appetizing. If you're ready to think outside the usual "split pea soup" box, try our delicious ham and pasta recipe. It makes a great meal that comes together quickly and does justice to the tastiness of holiday hams.

Directions

Note: Wash hands with soap and water.
1. Cook pasta according to package directions, omitting salt and fat. Drain and keep warm.
2. In a large saucepan over medium heat, combine flour and broth. Stir in cream cheese, garlic, Parmesan cheese and salt and pepper to taste. Stirring constantly with a whisk, cook mixture for 3 minutes or until it boils and thickens, stir in ham and cook for 3 minutes or until warmed through.
3. In a large bowl toss together cooked pasta and ham sauce.
4. Sprinkle with parsley and additional Parmesan cheese before serving if desired.
