1: Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
2: Wash hands with soap and water.
3: Rinse fresh produce under running water.
4: Place baguette pieces, cut side up, on rimmed baking pan; brush with 1 tablespoon oil and sprinkle with 1/8 teaspoon salt. Bake bread 8 minutes or until edges are slightly crisp.
5: In large skillet, heat remaining 1 tablespoon oil over medium heat. Add tomatoes, garlic, pepper and remaining 1/8 teaspoon salt; cook 2 minutes or until fragrant, stirring frequently. Remove from heat; stir in chopped basil. Makes about 1 1/4 cups.
6: Serve baguette pieces topped with tomato mixture drizzled with balsamic glaze garnished with basil leaves, if desire.
