Ingredients

Directions

1. In small bowl whisk together water and cornstarch; set aside.
2. Rinse shrimp and pat dry with paper towel. In large wok or non-stick skillet, heat sesame oil over medium high heat and swirl to coat. Add shrimp, sauté for about 2 minutes, turning to brown on both sides. Add snow peas, red pepper, mushrooms, green onion slices, garlic, black pepper and salt. Stir-fry for 1 minute and remove from heat.
3. In small saucepan, combine chicken broth, brown sugar, fish sauce and chile paste. Bring to a boil; stir in cornstarch mixture and cook until thickened, stirring constantly.
4. Pour sauce over shrimp and return shrimp mixture to medium high heat. Cook 2 minutes or until thoroughly heated. Serve over brown rice.
