Candied Pecans

- Wash hands with soap and water.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper; set aside.
- Coat a small saucepan with cooking spray and place over medium heat. Add sugar, water, cayenne pepper and cinnamon and bring to a boil. Let boil for 2 minutes or until mixture begins to thicken. Remove from heat.
- Stir in pecans until evenly coated with sugar mixture.
- Spread pecans out into a single layer onto prepared baking sheet. Sprinkle with salt and orange zest.
- Bake for 15 minutes or until pecans are a nice light brown.
- Remove from oven and let cool completely before packaging.
