Bean Soup with Turkey Sausage & Spinach

1. Wash hands with soap and water.

2. Rinse fresh produce.

3. Coat a large pan with cooking spray and place over medium heat. Once hot, add sausage and cook for 7 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit as verified with an instant-read food thermometer.

4. Coat a large saucepan or Dutch oven with cooking spray and place over medium heat. Add onions and sauté for 3 minutes or until tender. Add garlic and red pepper flakes and sauté for another minute. Add broth, water and pasta and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 30 minutes.

5. Add cooked sausage, beans, salt and pepper and simmer for 20 minutes. Add spinach and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand 5 minutes before serving.
