1. Wash hands with soap and water.

2. Rinse fresh produce.

3. Preheat oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.

4. In a large bowl, dissolve yeast in water for 5 minutes.

5. In a separate large bowl, combine 2 cups flour, salt, sugar and oregano; add to yeast. Add olive oil and mix to blend.

6. Knead for 10 minutes or until flour is well blended. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 15 minutes. Wash hands after handling raw flour.

7. Punch down and spread dough evenly onto a greased 12-inch pizza pan.

8. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook bacon until internal temperature reaches 145 degrees Fahrenheit as verified with an instant-read food thermometer, about 5 minutes. Wash hands after handling raw bacon. Remove with a slotted spoon to a paper-towel-lined plate, leaving drippings behind.

9. Return skillet to stove and add shallots and garlic. Cook until garlic just begins to turn golden, 2 minutes. Remove from skillet with a slotted spoon and set aside.

10. Carefully wipe skillet clean, add butter and place over low heat. Once melted, whisk in flour. Once it begins to bubble, slowly whisk in the wine.

11. Add clams, clam juice and lemon juice and simmer for 5 minutes. Add garlic and shallot mixture and stir to combine.

12. Spread clam sauce over pizza crust and top with bacon and shredded cheeses. Bake until cheese is bubbly and crust is brown, about 12 minutes.
