½ cup Big Y butter, softened

12 oz. whipped cream cheese

1/3 cup shredded Italian cheese blend

3 garlic cloves, crushed

1 tsp. Italian seasoning

¼ tsp. onion powder

-fresh cracked pepper to taste

8 slices multigrain bread

2 cups multi-color cherry tomatoes, cut in half

¼ cup small basil leaves

DIRECTIONS

1. In a large bowl using an electric mixer on medium speed, combine butter and cream cheese. Add cheese, garlic, Italian seasoning, onion powder and pepper to taste; mix well. Place in a medium bowl, cover and let chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour. 2. Using a toast or grill pan, toast bread slices. 3. Spread some cheese mixture on each of the bread slices and top with tomato halves and a few basil leaves. Refrigerate any remaining cream cheese spread.
