Market Withdrawal: occurs when a product has a minor concern that would not be subject to FDA nor USDA legal action. For example, if a product did not have the correct consistency or color and did not meet the company's quality expectations.

Big Y Foods is withdrawing Big Y Just Like Mom’s Elbow Macaroni Salad because some packages are marked with the wrong sell-by date on the container. The sell-by date on the container is printed as 5/4/23 when it should have been printed as 4/5/23. This is the only Just Like Mom’s product affected by this withdrawal.
Out of abundance of caution, the withdrawal was issued to inform customers of the incorrect sell-by date. There is no known health or safety concern with the product at this time. Upon returning the product to your local Big Y or with the proof of purchase (if the product was discarded), you will receive a full refund.
