Hood, Lactaid and Food Club Cottage Cheese Market Withdrawal

HP Hood, LLC is recalling a select number of containers of Hood, Lactaid and Food Club branded cottage cheese due to the potential presence of plastic pieces, which they have determined are unlikely to cause serious injuries or illnesses.
This recall is limited to select 16oz, 24oz and 32oz containers of cottage cheese products with “Best-by” expiration dates between 10/24/22 and 12/12/22. No other Hood products are involved with this recall.
No injuries or illnesses have been reported to date. Out of abundance of caution, after a small number of consumers contacted the company about this issue, Hood promptly took action and has identified the and remedied the problem.
Upon returning the product to your local Big Y or with the proof of purchase (if the product was discarded), you will receive a full refund.
