Easy Pizza Dough Hacks

Using a ball of pre-made pizza dough from Big Y might unleash your inner Italian chef, but there’s so much more to make than pizza with this versatile dough. Experimenting with new flavors keeps mealtime fun and exciting, so make your next meal pop with these simple pizza dough hacks.

Pizza Rolls – Roll dough into a square 1/4-inch thick and 12 inches wide. Spread a thin layer of sauce, toppings and cheese across the top. Roll into a log, cut into 1-inch sections and arrange on a greased baking sheet. Bake at 35 degrees Fahrenheit for 20-25 minutes.

Crispy Dipping Crackers – Roll dough ⅛-inch thick and cut into chip-size triangles. Sprinkle on desired seasonings like Parmesan cheese, pepper, salt and garlic powder then bake on a greased cookie sheet at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 10-12 minutes or until the dough is crispy and lightly browned.

Apple Galette – Press dough into a 12-inch round. Cut 3 apples into 8 wedges each, sprinkle with cinnamon and brown sugar. Arrange apples on dough, sprinkle with more spice and bake at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 30-45 minutes, until crispy. Let cool on sheet and serve.

Pour into prepared pan and bake at 450 degrees Fahrenheit for 20-25 minutes, until the egg is cooked through.
