September is Cholesterol Education Month!
To reduce your cholesterol:
Focus on substituting saturated and trans fats with unsaturated fats, like those found in seafood, liquid oils and nuts.
Participate in daily physical activity, quit smoking and limit alcohol intake
Incorporate foods which may help reduce cholesterol such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains, beans and soy foods
