Note: Wash hands with soap and water.1. Preheat oven to broil.
2. In a large bowl, toss together tomatillos, onion, jalapeños and oil; spread out onto a baking sheet. Broil for 5 minutes or until there are some char marks on tomatillos.
3. Reduce oven temperature to 400ºF. Turn tomatillos, onion and jalapeños over and cook for another 4 minutes or until tomatillos are softened; transfer to a food processor. Add cilantro, garlic and salt. Pulse several times until your desired consistency is reached. Serve at room temperature.
