Papa's Chili

Recipe by:




1. In large Dutch oven, saute onions, garlic and diced jalapeno in oil. Add ground beef and brown over medium heat.
2. In small bowl, mix together chili powder, oregano, cumin, flour and salt. Add to meat and cook, stirring constantly for 2 minutes.
3. Add diced tomatoes and green chilies, tomato sauce and 2-4 cups water. Simmer, covered, for 30 minutes over low heat.
4. Add additional water to adjust to desired consistancy. Add pinto beans and simmer another 10 minutes.
