Buttery sweet potatoes, whipped to perfection and topped with crunchy pecans.
1. Wash hands with soap and water.
2. Rinse fresh produce.
3. Fill a large stockpot two-thirds way full of water; add a few dashes of salt. Add sweet potatoes and cook for 15 minutes or until fork-tender; drain and transfer to a bowl.
4. Return stockpot to stove and place over medium heat. Add 3 tablespoons butter and garlic and cook for 3 minutes or until garlic starts to turn golden. Return potatoes to pot and cook for 2 minutes; remove from heat.
5. Add cream and remaining butter and mash until desired consistency is reached; season with salt and pepper and garnish with chopped pecans.
