Bright citrus seasoning complements the earthy, tender brussels sprouts.
1. Wash hands with soap and water.
2. Rinse fresh produce.
3. Place a saucepan with steamer insert and 1½ inches water over medium-high heat.
4. Trim sprouts of outer leaves and cut a small X in each base with a paring knife. When water is boiling, add sprouts and lemon quarters. Cook for 10 minutes or until sprouts are tender and bright green, tossing occasionally.
5. Transfer sprouts to a large serving bowl. Add butter, lemon juice, salt and pepper to taste and mix well. Serve immediately.
