Directions

1. Wash hands with soap and water.

2. Rinse fresh produce.

3. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine sugar, water and jalapeños with some seeds; bring to a boil.

4. Reduce heat and let simmer for 10 minutes.

5. Strain through a fine sieve and let cool. Store in refrigerator for up to 1 month.
