1. In an old-fashioned rocks glass, combine 1 tsp. Big Y sugar and 1 tsp. water; mix until sugar dissolves.
2. Fill glass with ice and add 3 oz. bourbon and 2 dashes Angostura bitters; mix well
3. Garnish with a maraschino cherry and a lemon peel.
