4 lb. boneless beef short ribs

3 cups stout beer

¼ cup less sodium soy sauce

½ cup Big Y brown sugar, firmly packed

¼ cup sesame oil

1 Tbsp. Big Y garlic powder

2 tsp. onion powder

-sea salt and cayenne pepper to taste

-Big Y no-stick cooking spray

-your favorite barbecue sauce

-slider rolls

-prepared coleslaw

DIRECTIONS

1. Place ribs in a large shallow dish. 2. In a large bowl, whisk together beer, ¼ cup soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic powder, onion powder and salt and cayenne pepper to taste; pour ¾ of the mixture over top ribs. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for a minimum of 1 hour. 3. Coat grill grate with cooking spray and preheat to medium with lid closed. Remove ribs from marinade; discard used marinade. Place ribs on grill, close lid and grill for 16 minutes, turning ribs every 3-5 minutes so that every side gets slightly caramelized. Reduce heat to medium-low, brush ribs with reserved sauce, cover and grill for 2 minutes. Flip ribs over, brush with more sauce and grill for 2 minutes or until desired doneness is reached. Remove from grill, cover with foil and let sit for 5 minutes. 4. Roughly chop beef and toss with your favorite barbecue sauce. Serve on slider rolls with coleslaw.
