¼ tsp. Kosher Salt

¼ tsp. fresh cracked pepper

1 sprig each thyme, rosemary and oregano, finely minced

1 lb. flat iron steak

2 Tbsp. vegetable oil, divided

4 Tbsp. Big Y unsalted butter

5 garlic cloves, minced

DIRECTIONS

1. In a small bowl, combine salt, pepper and minced herbs. 2. Rub both sides of steak with 1 tablespoon oil and salt mixture. 3. In a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat, add remaining oil. Add steak and cook for 5 minutes on each side or until desired degree of doneness is reached. Remove from skillet, wrap in foil and let stand for 5 minutes. 4. Return skillet to stove and place over low heat; add butter. Once melted, add garlic and cook, stirring frequently, for 4 minutes or until lightly golden; season to taste with salt. 5. Slice steak diagonally across the grain into thin strips. Spoon garlic butter over steak and serve.
