Add All Ingredients

2 big Y Large White Eggs

2 cups buttermilk

1 stick Big Y butter, melted and cooled to room temperature

2 Tbsp. Big Y pure vanilla extract

1¾ cups Big Y all-purpose flour

2 Tbsp. Big Y light brown sugar

2 tsp. baking powder

1 tsp. baking soda

1 tsp. Big Y salt

1 tsp. Big Y ground cinnamon

½ tsp. ground nutmeg

-Big Y no-stick cooking spray

2 cups Driscoll’s strawberries, roughly chopped

½ cup white chocolate shavings

-Big Y Vermont pure maple syrup


In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, buttermilk, melted butter and vanilla. In a medium bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg. Add to egg mixture and whisk just until smooth. Let batter rest briefly. Preheat a waffle iron according to manufacturer’s directions. Coat waffle iron with cooking spray. Ladle batter onto iron (about ¼ cup for an 8-inch round iron), close, and cook for 4 minutes or until just light golden brown. Top waffles with strawberries, white chocolate and maple syrup and serve immediately.
