Rao's Chicken Alfredo Frozen Single Serve Entree Recall

October 14th, 2024

Information

Out of an abundance of caution, Rao’s is voluntarily recalling a limit number of frozen single serve entrees due to the inclusion of recalled chicken from an outside ingredient supplier (BrucePac). The ingredient supplier (BrucePac) recall is due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination.

Listeria monocytogenes is an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Although healthy individuals may suffer only short-term symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea, Listeria infection can cause miscarriages and stillbirths among pregnant women.

If you have any of the products listed below, they should be thrown away or returned to your local Big Y for a full refund.
