Lewis Bay Oysters Recall

Information

The State of MA has issued a recall for Lewis Bay Oysters that were distributed by Chatham Shellfish Company and were received by Big Y from our supplier North Coast Seafood for Campylobacter. The shellfish was sold at our stores from July 2nd through July 19th.

Lewis Bay oysters are sold by the each from our seafood service case, but are also sold as part of our Fisherman’s Dozen Oysters, Featured Fisherman’s Dozen Oysters and our Oysters 25 count case.

Upon returning the product to your local Big Y or with the proof of purchase (if the product was discarded), you will receive a full refund.
