Big Y's Cheese Merchant's Make Cheddar!
Big Y's Cheese Merchants were given the opportunity (in May/June 2017) to see how cheese is made – and actually take part in the process! The Cheese Merchants traveled to Grafton Village Cheese Company in Brattleboro, Vermont, to learn the steps, and science, behind cheese making. And while there, employees were able to suit up (with gloves, clogs & uniforms) and literally get hands on experience! While employees jumped around between various stages of the process, this video shows, in order, their involvement in the steps to making cheddar.
