to reduce the amount of calories and carbohydrates per serving, replace traditional gelatin mix with sugar-free gelatin mix (may have to adjust the amount of water used).
1 ˝ cups boiling water
2- 3 oz boxes of Big YŽ Strawberry Gelatin Mix
8 oz can of crushed pineapple (drained)
16 oz container Big YŽ Sliced Frozen Strawberries
4 oz can shelled walnuts (chopped)
2 small bananas cut into slices
8 oz container of fat-free sour cream
1. Mix Gelatin Mix with 1˝ cups boiling water.
2. Add strawberries and allow strawberries thaw out.
3. Mix in walnuts, pineapple, and bananas.
4. Pour ˝ mixture into mold pan and let set until hardens into gel (about 10-15 minutes).
5. Pour sour cream onto hardened gelatin.
6. Pour rest of gelatin mix over sour cream.
7. Place mold into refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
8. When completely hardened, remove from mold and cut into 10 servings.
