SPRINGFIELD, MA – (April 29, 2008) - In order to continue their quest to raise awareness and funds towards eradicating breast cancer as a life threatening disease, Big Y Foods, Inc. will be donating 5 cents for every package of Big Y branded product purchased during this year’s Mother’s Day week sale from May 8 through May 14th. Big Y’s donation will benefit the Massachusetts and Connecticut Affiliates of Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
