SPRINGFIELD, MA – (March 12, 2009) - Big Y Foods, Inc. is pleased to announce a new prescription plan for customers who have no prescription drug coverage or whose existing insurance does not cover their prescription medication needs. These customers can get a 90-day supply of over 300 generic prescriptions for just $9.99 after paying an annual fee of $7.95. Once the customer is officially enrolled, the Big Y Pharmacist sets them up in the company’s electronic system.
