Plank Grilling

Easy Directions

1. SOAK – plank, submerged in water at least 1 hour, or add fruit juice
or wine for unique flavors
2. HEAT
– grill to 350°F, add soaked plank to grill rack, close cover, heat
3 minutes and flip plank
3. SMOKE – add food to heated plank, close cover; cook until done,
no turning or flipping necessary
4. EAT

*Always keep a spray bottle close by in case of flare ups.

CAUTION: Planks may catch fire

Planks must be soaked in water at least one hour before every use to
prevent burning. Use a spray bottle of water to put out flare-ups.
Planks are for outdoor use only.
Planks will get hot during cooking. Use hot pads or tongs to remove
plank from grill.
Always remove plank from grill directly after cooking.
