DID YOU KNOW YOU CAN MICROWAVE JUST ABOUT ANY TYPE OF FISH?
Its true, cooking fish in the microwave is possibly the simplest and fastest way to cook fish. About 5 minutes in the microwave and voila! You’re ready to eat. Here are just a couple of simple recipes for cooking fish in the microwave.
SALMON FILLETS OR STEAKS
(Steelhead Trout may be substituted)
- Season To Taste.
- Place in microwave-safe dish.
- Cover with Plastic Wrap, turn back one corner
- Microwave on MEDIUM for 4-6 minutes or until fish flakes when tested with a fork.
- Let stand 1-2 minutes to complete cooking.
ALL WHITEFISH FILLETS
(Cod, Haddock, Pollock, Tilapia, etc)
- Season To Taste.
- Place in microwave-safe dish.
- Cover with Plastic Wrap, turn back one corner.
- Microwave on HIGH for 4-5 minutes or until fish flakes when tested with a fork.
- Let stand for 1-2 minutes to complete cooking.
