Microwaving Fish?

DID YOU KNOW YOU CAN MICROWAVE JUST ABOUT ANY TYPE OF FISH?

Its true, cooking fish in the microwave is possibly the simplest and fastest way to cook fish. About 5 minutes in the microwave and voila! You’re ready to eat. Here are just a couple of simple recipes for cooking fish in the microwave.

SALMON FILLETS OR STEAKS

(Steelhead Trout may be substituted)

  1. Season To Taste.
  2. Place in microwave-safe dish.
  3. Cover with Plastic Wrap, turn back one corner
  4. Microwave on MEDIUM for 4-6 minutes or until fish flakes when tested with a fork.
  5. Let stand 1-2 minutes to complete cooking.

ALL WHITEFISH FILLETS

(Cod, Haddock, Pollock, Tilapia, etc)

  1. Season To Taste.
  2. Place in microwave-safe dish.
  3. Cover with Plastic Wrap, turn back one corner.
  4. Microwave on HIGH for 4-5 minutes or until fish flakes when tested with a fork.
  5. Let stand for 1-2 minutes to complete cooking.
