Care Tips for Hibiscus

Pure pizzazz!
This shrub has big, beautiful and bright flowers. They're easy to care for and they grow quickly. Plant them in a nice warm spot, or grow them in a pot and move them around the house to follow the sunshine.

HIBISCUS TIPS:
If your hibiscus plants' leaves start to yellow and then droop, cut back the branches to remove the tip growth. Put a little fertilizer (with nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium) around the dripline of the plant. Then water them...really water them!

In the winter, hibiscus probably will not bloom indoors. The blooms may begin again as spring approaches. Keep the plant trimmed back. Keep it cool, but not cold. Water it well, checking to be sure soil is moist. Southern exposure is key, and don't forget to turn the plant daily.
