Indirect or bright diffused light is best.
Moderately moist soil is preferred. Water thoroughly when just the soil surface is dry to the touch. Do not allow plants to stand in water.
The Boston fern is easy to grow, but requires a little special attention, humidity is its only troublesome requirement. Bright, dry conditions will cause yellowing and browning of the fronds. Watch for scale and mealybugs and place your fern out of traffic areas since a frond will not grow back once it is broken
