Keep Milk Fresh
We've all seen the ads asking us Got Milk?® Well at Big Y World Class Markets, we've got it!!
Our milk comes to you triple sealed for freshness!

- Always use milk in order in which it was purchased.
- Milk Containers should be kept closed and if possible stored in its original containers
- Milk should be refrigerated in 4º Celsius or 39.2º Fahrenheit
- Milk should be stored in the shelves of the refrigerator and not it's doors - the opening and closing of the doors do not provide the proper storing temperature for milk
- Keep milk stored away from strong smelling foods that produce odors.
- Milk can be frozen for up to 3 weeks
Note: Whole milk does not freeze as well as 2% or Skim ( Fat Free).
- Freezing milk will only minimally affect nutrient and flavor loss - it may however only affect it's texture.
- Frozen milk should only thawed in a refrigerator
- For best results - milk should be heated slowly so as to not scorch it's flavor or product a film of protein on the top.
