Accounts Payable & Fixed Assets Manager

Big Y Foods, Inc. is looking for a manager with proven ability in accounts payable and fixed asset accounting. This is a hands-on role, which requires supervisory experience as well as solid full-cycle AP and accounting skills. Responsibilities include ensuring timely and accurate payments; accounting and reporting of fixed assets and capital expenditures; ensuring adherence to the company’s policies and procedures; period-end closings, reconciliation, and account analysis; 1099 reporting; and staff supervision. The successful candidate will proactively seek process improvements and system efficiencies in a high volume AP and accounting department.

Preferred candidates will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, and will know and use the fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of accounting. The ideal candidates will also have a strong work ethic, solid organization skills, and excellent attention to detail. The ability to manage time effectively and work on a variety of tasks in a fast-paced, team environment is essential. Candidates should have 3+ years experience in accounts payable and accounting and 2+ years supervisory experience. Full Time Financial Planning Manager

Big Y Foods, Inc. is looking for a manager to provide financial planning and analysis for the Company’s operational and strategic initiatives. This is a hands-on role, which requires strong technical, financial, analytical, and modeling skills. Responsibilities include budgeting and forecasting, preparing pro forma income statements and cash flow projections, and analyzing return on investment for proposed capital expenditures. Forecasts and pro forma models will be used for a variety of purposes: what-ifs, cash flow impacts, variance analysis, capital budgeting, and ratio analysis. The successful candidate will deliver timely, insightful financial analyses to management to support business decisions.

Preferred candidates will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, and will know and use the fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of accounting and finance. The ideal candidate will also have strong organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills, with superior communication skills to provide information to all levels of the organization. In addition, the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and to effectively manage multiple responsibilities and deadlines are essential. Requirements:

  1. Must be a licensed Pharmacist in the state in which pharmacy is practiced.
  2. Must complete HIPAA training.
  3. Must be certified to administer vaccines in the state in which pharmacy is practiced.
