Part Time Pharmacy Technician
In our Killingly, Stafford Springs, Groton and Tolland locations

Qualifications

  • Must have a high school diploma, GED or enrolled in GED program.
  • Must complete HIPAA training.
  • Experience preferred.

Essential Functions

  • Re-order all prescriptions.
  • Oversee and provide Pharmacy Tech training.
  • Prepare prescriptions for verification by pharmacists.
  • Check to ensure NDC numbers match all prescription checks.
  • Receive written prescription or telephoned refill requests.
  • Review the perpetual inventory to ensure accuracy; check shelves for outdated drugs.
  • Data entry of all information pertaining to prescriptions.
  • Build relationships, educate our customers, and create sales.
  • Operate a cash register.
  • Adhere to all Company policies/procedures and government regulations.
  • Complete all training requirements by respective due dates.

Full Time Pharmacy Manager

Qualifications

  • Must be a licensed pharmacist in the state in which pharmacy is practiced.
  • Must complete HIPAA training.
  • Must be certified to administer vaccines in the state in which pharmacy is practiced.
  • Ability to develop, motivate, and influence others through training, mentoring, coaching and team-building.
  • Ability to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels.

Essential Supervisory Functions

  • Recruit, interview and select employees.
  • Supervise, direct, set goals and delegate tasks using independent judgment.
  • Arrange for ongoing training and communication with all employees working within your area.

  • Evaluate, coach, reward, recognize employees and celebrate successes.
  • Handle conflict and counsel employees that require disciplinary actions up to and including termination with the assistance of the Store Director and ESR.

Essential Functions

  • Achieve all operations and sales objectives/goals for assigned area (e.g. contribution, budget, gross profit, productivity, inventory management, merchandising/signage, price checks/changes, promotions/contests, etc.).
  • To make, mix and compound prescriptions for the customer and give over the counter recommendations.
  • Ensure inventory is properly maintained to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Fill and evaluate prescriptions for completeness, accuracy, legality and proper labeling.
  • Maintain adequate patient information to ensure safety and appropriateness of the prescription.
  • Ensure prescription pricing follows established guidelines and procedure and verify prescription pricing according to schedule.
  • Administer flu vaccines in accordance with state regulations.
  • Use 10 Foot Rule Ô techniques to build relationships, educate our customers, and create sales.
  • Operate a cash register where applicable.
  • Adhere to all Company policies/procedures and government regulations.
  • Complete all training requirements by respective due dates.
